Drawing is the cornerstone of Bronwyn's practice. It is the place where ideas begin and the medium to which she returns. Her drawing practice centres on charcoal, a material she works with more like paint than pencil, shifting and building tone across the surface rather than making a fixed line. It is a slow, physical process, and one she has always loved.
